Who runs this site
HumanAnswered (humananswered.com) is run by one person in Minnesota. Questions about anything on this page go to [email protected]. Email sent to that address is forwarded through Cloudflare to the owner's Gmail inbox, where software helps sort it.
What you send
There are no accounts and no forms on this site. If you email to claim the badge, the owner gets your email address and what you say about your business. It's used to answer you, set up your badge, pledge page and directory listing, and bill the membership. Once spot checks start, it is also used to check that the pledge is being kept. The business details you give for the listing (name, phone line, hours, pledge) are published in the public directory. Your email address isn't published and isn't given to anyone else. This site doesn't take payment and never sees card details. If you buy, you pay through a separate payment company using a link sent by email, and that company gets the details it needs to charge you.
What gets logged automatically
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare logs the IP address, browser type and pages requested for each visit, to keep the site running and to block abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page views and load times with a small script. It doesn't use cookies.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
